Chapter 6
A new person
I woke up startled. There was a girl who was patting a wet towel on my forehead. I didn't move my head, although I did see around the room with my eyes. It was a cabin which I'm guessing the cabin was for medical attention needs. On the north side was to doors, one on the left and one on the right. In the middle of those doors was a fireplace. On left and the South were about thirteen beds, including mine. On the right side wall was shelves covering the wall from top to bottom. It took the girl a few minutes to find out that I was awake. she ran out the left north door. She closed it, but I could still hear her yelling, "He's awake! He's awake!" I decided that the best thing for me to do is go back to sleep. I kept thinking, Maybe I'm being held hostage. Where's my friends? And it went like that for a long time. I couldn't go to sleep, so I pretended like I had fallen back asleep. I heard the door open then close a few minutes later. "What are you talking about, Heather? He's fast asleep," said a deep gruff man's voice. "I saw his eyes looking around! I'm serious, James. How could I be ha-" she was interrupted. "Maybe it's from all that training. You probably just want to believe it. I mean, he's been out for four days!" "I'm sorry I interrupted volleyball." she muttered. You could barely hear her, because her head was facing the ground. I heard the man walking away. The girl sat back down in the chair next to my bed. She started sobbing. "You can wake up now. He's gone. I only wish that you decided to play dead when someone else was on Seth watch," she sniffled. Seth watch? So they've been taking turns watching my every move? I kept thinking. I opened my eyes. Apparently, she knew I was awake, so what does it matter if I open my eyes. She looked at me her eyes red. She sniffed. Then made a disgusted face. "Nasty, you smell like monsters exploded on you," she said. I sat up straight all the blood draining from my head. I didn't talk until everything stopped moving around. "Well, of course I do. I did kill those Greek thingies," I coughed. I looked at her. She had brown hair and brown eyes. She was only a little bit shorter than me. I called the monsters that because I forgot the names for a moment, it was probably because of all the blood getting settled. She lifted her legs into the chair, then put her arms around her legs. "That was only some of the easy ones," she whispered, " There's so many more to come." As she talked I noticed that she had two sharp fangs, they weren't too sharp or anything. Just little sharp canines, like they were going to grow. That's when I noticed that the canines were similar to Rick's, and when I thought about that I noticed that the girl looked similar to Rick, as well. Then... it hit me, that this is Heather, Rick's little sister. I looked at her for a long time. After I few minutes I realized she was waiting for a reply. "Oh! Um... yeah, I believe that. You're Rick's little sister, Heather, aren't you?" I responded. She looked at me to the bed to the lumpy mattress I was lying on. "So you've heard of me, huh? Well, that's great. Yes I'm his sister, and I hate it. He treats me like such a baby. And when he's not doing that he's pushing me too hard," she said in a soft voice. when she said too hard you could hear a growl, that you would possibly get from a wolf. "Oh, I'm sorry. So... why are you here? You look like the type of person who would want to be free," I said, looking down at the floor. She stifled a little laugh. "It's not like it's your fault. You're right. I do want to be free from this wretched place. Camp gets on my nerves everyday, but I have to learn to control my anger," she smirked. I could tell she was getting looser and looser. She smiled, "Oh! I almost forgot! Here take this." She handed me a sea shell with a beautiful design. "Cool. Where'd you get it?" I asked
"I didn't get it, YOU got it. It's the fury's nail."

WOO HOO! GO HEATHER!! WOOOO!!!!!!!!!
